Meet the Team

We are a group of D.C. Metropolitan Area student alumni. We value education, and seeing how much COVID-19 has changed the classroom, we want to make sure you don't fall behind.

Eric Gustafson

Georgia Institute of Technology: Mechanical Engineering. GPA 3.80
Tutor for: Math, Physics, CS, and SAT Math (IB, AP, and general education)
I am a second-year student at Georgia Tech majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Artificial Intelligence. I have tutored locally for the past 3 years and have also worked for Slader LLC as a content contributor. I received a perfect score of 800 for the math section of the SAT and, while practicing for the 2019 BC exam, scored a perfect 108/108 on the released 2008 AP Calculus BC exam (scoring a 5 on both the 2018 AB and 2019 BC exam). I have taken just about every SAT and AP Calculus exam that The CollegeBoard has released, so I know the exact format in which they format their questions. Whether it be AP Calculus AB/BC or the SAT, I know the ins and outs of the exams, how to be time-efficient, and the strategies that will maximize your score. In my free time, I like to code and play around with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. From going faster through questions to expanding your knowledge on any given topic, I’m ready to help!

Bennie Tignor

Georgia Institute of Technology: Biomedical Engineering. GPA 3.96
Tutoring for: All subjects (IB, AP, and general education)
I am a second-year engineering student who has been passionate about education and tutoring for years. As a former student member to the FCPS School Board, I have traveled across the county learning from teachers and relating their experiences to the struggles I personally faced in the classroom growing up with ADHD and dyslexia. This unique opportunity has allowed me to develop a dynamic PBL (problem-based learning) teaching style that focuses on helping students come to their own conclusions, which in turn improves skill retention and engagement. I have been practicing these methods as a certified Chegg tutor in over 20 subjects with 100% positive feedback. I’m looking forward to working with you!
